In a bid to showcase our range of stylish & progressive vehicles, Renault South Africa embarked on a nationwide Test-Drive Campaign promoted under the umbrella of RENAULT’S PHAT DRIVE during the month of March.
The Test-Drive Campaign incorporated a competition element, the mechanics of which were social-media driven, with the linked Test-Drive incentives being awesome Daily Passion Prizes and the Grand Prize of a Renault Duster.
The results of this Campaign spoke for themselves and were echoed by Jesus Boveda, Marketing VP for Renault SA: “We exceeded all expectations with the results generated from this Test-Drive Campaign, with a marked increase in leads (11 326 in total, to be precise), showroom traffic, and over 5 800 test-drives conducted.”
The Social Media interaction heightened over the month of March with hopeful entrants sharing their “framed” pics & exuberant daily winners being showcased.
An extremely happy & disbelieving Eduan Joubert was announced as the lucky winner of the coveted Renault Duster last week. Eduan and his family reside on a farm in Roodeplaat, the perfect terrain to put the capable SUV to the test. Eduan has an entrepreneurial spirit with several enterprising businesses on-the-go. A barn on the farmyard being the perfect location for his art gallery displaying his artworks, a part-time passion that has grown into a business. However, owEduan’s main focus on his beautiful farm is producing medicinal herbs.
Eduan rued the day his wife sold her Duster which they drove for 3 years, but it was clearly meant-to-be. His vehicle test-drive at Renault Hatfield proved to be an extremely fruitful one, which will see him behind the wheel of the ever-tough Renault Duster once again.
Judging by his enthusiastic comment below, it’s safe to say Eduan is an extremely grateful recipient of the prize vehicle. “I am still in disbelief, and so thankful for receiving a vehicle at this stage of our life – and to top it all – a Renault Duster – in my favourite colour (Metallic Cosmos Blue)
All I can say is that I am thrilled and shocked, but in a pleasant way. Thank you Renault South Africa for making this a reality – And a big thank you to Sarie from Renault Centurion who went the extra mile with her excellent service. I am deeply appreciative.”
