WESTERN CAPE – Members attached to the Cape Town Tactical Response Unit that were strategically deployed to monitor activities at an address in Montana today, followed up on information they received about a BMW vehicle that drove into the yard at an address not far from where they were.
Police pounced the residence and conducted a thorough search of the vehicle. 7000 mandrax tablets worth a substantial amount and an undisclosed amount of money was confiscated. A 41-year-old man was arrested for dealing in drugs, he will appear in the Bishop Lavis Magistrates’ court, once he has been charged.
The SAPS management commended the members for removing drugs from the streets and bringing the suspect to book.
