The MEC for Transport, Community Safety, and Liaison Sipho Hlomuka last night, 24 November 2022, hosted stakeholders and the media to give a report back on milestones achieved in his first 100 days in office.
In his first 100 days in office, MEC Hlomuka has pushed for massive job creation as part of repositioning the Department of Transport and Community Safety and Liaison.
MEC Hlomuka has also presided over the handover of world-class infrastructure. In addition, he has also led the launch of the construction of new projects and repairing flood-damaged infrastructure.
MEC Hlomuka has also encouraged an integrated approach to crime prevention and has highlighted the importance of having an active citizenry in the war against crime.
