A white Toyota Hilux bakkie hijacked from Burbreeze in Tongaat – KZN was recovered abandoned a short while ago (Monday).
GPS co-ordinates were provided to multiple private security entities after armed suspects sped off with the vehicle belonging to Umgeni Water. Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA), Tracker SA and other service providers converged on an unpaved road in Upper Tongaat and recovered the bakkie abandoned.
No injuries were reported during the hijacking.
