Two brothers, both Pakistani nationals, were the victims of an armed robbery and hijacking while delivering lighters and cigarettes on Leopard Road in Waterloo – KZN today (Friday).
The incident occurred while they were travelling in a white Toyota Corolla (2007 model, registration unknown). According to one of the victims, who was met on the scene by members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA), the pair were accosted by four armed men carrying pistols.
The suspects robbed them of a large undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing with their vehicle. The suspects are believed to have arrived in a white Toyota Corolla.
The victims’ cellphones were also taken during the robbery.
