WELKOM – Police are requesting assistance from the public to locate 29-year-old Christopher Cloete, who was recently reported missing in Welkom.
It is reported that he left home on Thursday, 30 October 2025, at about 07:00. The vehicle belonging to the missing person was traced by relatives. It was reportedly found parked at Elizabeth Street with no sign of the missing person. Efforts to locate the missing person were all in vain. A missing person’s file has been registered and is under investigation.
It is unknown what the missing person was wearing at the time of his disappearance. He is described to be tall and has long brown hair.
Police are appealing to anyone with information on the whereabouts of Christopher Cloete to contact Detective Sergeant Sello Mali of the Welkom Detective Services on cellphone number 066 131 6695 or the Crime Stop Number 08600 10111 or alternatively information can be sent through the MySAPS App.
