A 79 year old female has tragically lost her life following a pedestrian motor vehicle collision along Malandela Road, KwaMashu, on Thursday morning.
KZN VIP Emergency Medical Teams were dispatched to reports of a motor vehicle collision. Upon arrival, emergency personnel found that the elderly female had been struck by a taxi while attempting to cross the roadway.
The victim was found pinned beneath the taxi and showed no signs of life. She was sadly declared deceased on scene.
KZN VIP extends its heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and loved ones during this extremely difficult time.
