Police are appealing to the community for assistance in locating 14-year-old Nonceba Notuku, who was reported #missing on Tuesday, 24 February 2026 from her home in Phase 4.
It is alleged that the teenager was last seen at her residence on the night of 18 February 2026, at approximately 23:00. It is alleged that an argument ensued between Nonceba and her mother shortly before they were to retire for the night.
Following the disagreement, Nonceba reportedly packed her school shoes and a portion of her clothing before leaving the house. Notably, the teenager left her cellphone behind, making direct communication impossible.
After several days of unsuccessful searching by family and friends, the mother officially opened a missing person file on 24 February 2026. While the investigation and tracing efforts are ongoing, there is currently no lead regarding her whereabouts.
SAPS would like to remind the public that there is no waiting period to report a person missing. Immediate reporting can be vital in ensuring a safe return.
