SAPS Phaudi in the Free State Province is requesting the public’s assistance in locating Linda Rathididi (23), her minor child Noko, and her younger brother Goddon Mahlatse (19), who were reported #missing on Saturday 03 January 2026, at Gamashamaite, Phaudi policing area.
According to the complainant, on the morning of the incident, Linda Rathididi bathed her son, Noko, while her younger brother, Goddon, had already bathed. Goddon informed their grandmother that he was accompanying Linda to visit her boyfriend, Tshepo Lebeya, at Ga Chokoe village and that he would return later.
Before leaving the house, Linda allegedly took her clothes and those of her child and burned them. When questioned by her grandmother, Linda allegedly stated that the clothes belonged to her and that she could do whatever she wanted with them. She also allegedly burned her child Noko’s birth certificate and left behind Goddon’s birth certificate.
Later that day, the grandmother realised that Goddon had not returned home. On the following day, the complainant’s daughter, Mokgadi, received a call from Tshepo Lebeya, who alleged that he had received a message from Linda stating that she had left and that he would never see his child again. The matter was then reported to the police, and a missing person inquiry was opened.
Lindi is tall, light in complexion, and at the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a long dress and black-and-gold sport shoes. Goddon is light in complexion, and at the time of his disappearance, he was wearing blue jeans, a black T-shirt, a Lesotho traditional hat, and white sandals. Noko (minor child) was wearing a white vest and short blue pants.
