Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi, together with MEC Kedibone Diale-Tlabela, today launched the upgraded K101 Road (Old Johannesburg Road) project set to boost mobility and economic growth.
The launch marked the completion of one of the significant road infrastructure investments aimed at improving mobility, reducing travel times, enhancing road safety, and strengthening connectivity across Gauteng.
The project involved the construction of approximately 5.4 kilometres of dual carriageway between D795 and the N1 via Brakfontein Road, including the construction of three bridges and associated road infrastructure upgrades.
