Investigating officers from the Family Violence Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit in the Uitenhage Cluster would like to make an urgent appeal to members of the community to assist them in locating a missing 13-year-old child.
Sharine Jantjies (also known as “Mami”) was born on 25 June 2005 and officially reported missing by her mother on Wednesday, 17 October 2018, after she failed to return home on Sunday, 14 October 2018. It is alleged that she and another friend visited a tavern in Khayamnandi and left the premises with unknown males during the evening of Sunday, 14 October 2018.
Sharine Jantjies has a light complexion and she was last seen wearing an orange t-shirt, black jeans and tekkies on the day that she went missing.
