A 24-year-old man was killed outside a shebeen in Zwelisha – KZN.
Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) received a call for medical assistance. On arrival, the victim was found with to have been stabbed twice in the head and once on the left side of his chest. He showed no signs of life and was declared deceased.
According to his sister, the deceased was recently discharged from the hospital after he was assaulted for unknown reasons by a group of men. She believes that the same individuals were responsible for the murder. A large crowd that gathered at the scene prior to the arrival of First Responders claimed to have no knowledge of the perpetrators involved in the incident.
A case of murder is being investigated.
