A Toyota Corolla was destroyed after it burst into flames while parked on a property on Almond lane in Trenance Park – KZN last night (Monday).
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were dispatched to the residence at approximately 22:05. On arrival, Reaction Officers found the Ethekwini Fire Department and Metro Police in attendance. An elderly female informed Reaction Officers that she discovered the vehicle engulfed in flames after investigating a toxic smell.
The cause of the fire was not immediately established.
