Police in Malamulele have opened a case of missing person following the disappearance of 37-year-old Matimba Mthombheni, a resident of Xihosana Village.
According to information, Matimba attended a funeral at Makoxa village on Sunday, 21 July 2024, and returned to Xihosana Village afterward. The following day, Matimba informed his mother (the complainant) that he would be traveling back to Pretoria with an acquaintance.
However, when the acquaintance arrived to collect Matimba, he was nowhere to be found. Despite a search effort by relatives and friends, Matimba’s whereabouts remain unknown.
Police appeal to anyone with information regarding Matimba’s disappearance to contact the Investigating Officer, Sergeant Rhulani Mabunda at 083 550 8607 or Crime Stop number 08600 10111 or use the MySAPSApp.
