Ten (10) CCTV Cameras & a Digital Video Recorder (DVR) were removed and several household items were stolen from a home on Rosemary Drive in Brindhaven – KZN this afternoon.
Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) received the call for assistance at 13:42 (Thursday) after a nanny returned from a local visit to find furniture & other valuables from her employers house missing.
The homeowner was called to the scene & confirmed that the following items were missing:
*Two (2) Samsung Televisions
*Two (2) Beds
*Ten (10) CCTV Cameras
*Whirlpool Washing Machine
*Defy Tumble Dryer
*Grafton Everest Lounge Suite
*Samsung Fridge
*One (1) Microwave
*Samsung Air Fryer
*Defy Pressure Cooker
When the area was canvassed, residents reported seeing several men removing the items to a branded delivery truck.
Further information was received that the Housebreaking & Theft was linked to a domestic matter & the stolen property was in dispute pending a divorce. This information could not be verified.
Reaction Officers were informed that the homeowner intended on registering a criminal case of Housebreaking & Theft.
