Five (5) vehicles were gutted in a fire on Crocodile Road in Waterloo – KZN a short while ago (Wednesday).
A Malawian national operating a Panel Beating business from the property started a fire to burn refuse. The flames spread through the yard which resulted in five (5) customers vehicles catching alight.
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) arrived on scene at approximately 13:29 and removed gas cylinders that were lying near the burning vehicles. Firefighters from the Ethekwini Fire Department thereafter extinguished the blaze.
No injuries were reported.
