Earlier today, the Durban Metro Police Service Crime Prevention Unit, in partnership with the Department of Home Affairs, conducted a joint illegal immigration operation in the Durban CBD.
A total of 32 individuals were processed:
● 15 were released after verification.
● 15 were arrested for being undocumented.
● 2 shop owners were arrested for employing undocumented individuals.
These operations are part of our continued efforts to enforce the law and protect the integrity of our communities.
