A 30-year-old unemployed resident from Osindisweni – KwaZulu-Natal was threatened with death if he reported a robbery to authorities.
The pedestrian was accosted by two (2) suspects while walking along Wick Street in the Verulam CBD – KZN today (Thursday). They dropped him to the ground and searched him. He was deprived of his A05 Samsung cellphone and R300 in cash. The suspects informed the victim that they would locate and murder him if he registered a criminal case.
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) set out in search of the suspects after being informed of the incident, but no arrests were made.
