Earlier today, at approximately 11:55 AM, the KZN VIP Control Centre was alerted via social media platforms regarding an armed robbery in progress at a local Jewelry Store, located inside Cornubia Mall.
In response, KZN VIP Tactical Response Units and Medical teams were immediately dispatched to the scene.
Upon arrival, our Tactical Team made contact with traumatised store staff, who reported that approximately eight (😎 armed male suspects, posing as shoppers and carrying shopping bags, entered the store. The suspects forced staff members into a corner at gunpoint before smashing glass cabinets and removing an unknown quantity of high-value jewelry.
The suspects fled the scene in a white Toyota Starlet, with the following details:

Registration Number: MM05XT GP
Thankfully, no physical injuries were reported; however, staff were left highly traumatised and were assessed by KZN VIP Medical Teams on-site.
