At approximately 16:52 on Wednesday evening, the 24th of December, Rustenburg First Responders received a call regarding a patient who had been thrown from a moving vehicle on 4th Avenue, Rustenburg.
Information received indicated that the patient was a victim of an armed robbery and had been thrown from the moving vehicle, sustaining a serious injury to the ankle. Rustenburg First Responders, together with North West Provincial EMS, were immediately dispatched to the scene.
Upon arrival, the patient was found to have a fractured ankle and was experiencing severe pain. Rustenburg First Responders assisted in providing care, working alongside EMS personnel to treat and stabilise the patient before he was transported to hospital for further medical attention.
This scene was attended by Rustenburg First Responders and North West Provincial EMS.
