PORT ELIZABETH – Detectives at SAPS Kabega Park are appealing to anyone who can assist in identifying and tracing the next of kin of a man who drowned in Kini Bay in November 2019.
According to police information, on 7 November 2019 at about 06:00, workers cleaning the beach spotted a black male approx. 30-years-old walking into the sea in Kini Bay and he never came out. At about 11:00 the same day, his body washed ashore.
At the time of the drowning, he was wearing blue jeans and a black jacket. It was established through enquiries in the area that the deceased may be a vagrant as he was seen often walking in Seaview and Kini Bay.
