The Chatsworth SAPS is looking for the person in the attached identikit. Police believe that he may be of assistance in a case of murder and hijacking that occurred at Moorton Drive in Chatsworth on 4 March 2015 at 06:00. The person in the attached identikit is a male, approximately 24-28 years old. He is medium built and tall in height. He is light in complexion and has a scar on his left cheekbone. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans, black leathered gloves, black beanie, and metallic boots.
It is alleged that on 4 March 2015 at 06:00, Shaik Hoosen (60) and his son were on their way to work in their Toyota Corolla Prestige when they came across a champagne Toyota Corolla stationary on the road. Two armed men jumped out of the Toyota Corolla and smashed the windows of the deceased’s vehicle. One of the armed men pulled out the deceased’s son from the vehicle, while the other armed man fired a shot which hit Shaik. He managed to drive a few meters on Moorton Drive where he died, while the deceased’s son managed to escape. The suspects pulled the deceased’s body out of the vehicle and drove off with his vehicle.
