Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were on patrol on Arbee Drive in the Tongaat CBD – KZN on 23 December 2025 at approximately 18:12 (Tuesday) when they were alerted to a stabbing incident.
Upon arrival, Reaction Officers found an unresponsive female lying on the roadway outside a bar. It is alleged that she was stabbed during an altercation and was declared deceased at the scene.
Her partner, who was heavily intoxicated, was unable to provide further information on the events leading up to the incident.
The suspect is known to the deceased’s partner. He fled the scene on foot.
