The SAPS in Vaalbank, Mpumalanga, is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a #missing elderly man, by the name of Josia Zomhlola Mgidi, aged 82, from Allemansfrift C in Vaalbank.
According to a report, Josia was last seen on 30 November 2025 at around 20:00, when he went to sleep in his room. The following morning on 01 December 2025 at around 07:00, his daughter went to check on him in his room but discovered that he was nowhere to be found. He reportedly left without informing anyone and has not returned home since.
At the time of his disappearance, Josia was wearing black and white trousers with a long-sleeved purple T-shirt.
The Police urge anyone with information that could assist in locating Josia to contact the Vaalbank SAPS on (013) 947 6192 or the Investigating Officer, Sergeant George Phahla on 072 751 2629.
