39 DWD ARRESTS – UMGENI ROAD
The Durban Metro Police Service, in collaboration with South African Police Service and RTI, conducted a Driving While Drunk (DWD) roadblock on Umgeni Road last night.
A total of 39 motorists were arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.
Operations of this nature will continue as part of ongoing efforts to improve road safety and reduce alcohol-related incidents on our roads.
Motorists are urged to make responsible choices… do not drink and drive.
