During the early morning hours, while on regular patrols in the Prestbury area, a Mi7 Reaction Officer spotted a man scaling the fence of a residential property.
The Reaction Officer immediately gave chase, with the suspect fleeing into a nearby bush. The chase continued on foot through the bush, but unfortunately, the suspect got away.
When the Reaction Officer returned to the premises, he found several stolen items the suspect had dropped while fleeing, including a gas cylinder and several tools.
The items were handed over to local police.
