The Eastern Cape Department of Transport’s inaugural Research Symposium is underway in Gqeberha.
The symposium is launched as a platform dedicated to advancing knowledge, fostering innovation and highlighting the important role that the Eastern Cape’s transport infrastructure, corridors and communities play in shaping the future of the country’s transport sector.
Transport industry experts, scholars and other meaningful role players in the transportation sector and comes at a time when the spotlight has been firmly on transport infrastructure in the province.
Research and technological exploration are expected to aid the department’s plans to turn the situation around and fuel the drive to improve our connectivity, mobility and accessibility.
