Two suspects aged 24 and 29 will appear before Ngcobo Magistrate’s Court on 10 March 2025 for allegations of possession of unlicensed firearms and ammunition. This is subsequent to the arrest of the duo by Ngcobo Crime Prevention Unit (CPU) on 09 March 2025.
Ngcobo CPU members followed on intelligence information received about two suspects who were allegedly in unlawful possession of firearms and ammunition at Nkqonqo Locality. Their homesteads were searched and two firearms and ammunition were recovered.
The duo will make their first appearance before Ngcobo Magistrate’s Court on 10 March 2025.
The District Commissioner Major General Rudolph Adolph lauded the team for the recovery as that will prevent the commission of heinous criminal activities
