Reaction Officers responding to a call of a man lying dead in car in Riet River – KZN this morning found the man heavily intoxicated.
Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) received two (2) calls from residents in the area reporting a man slumped on the drivers seat in a whlte Renault Triber & causing an obstruction on the road.
The callers believed the man was deceased & called for immediate assistance.
Upon arrival Reaction Officers found the rear windows opened & approached the vehicle. After a brief observation the Officers established that the man was was alive but heavily intoxicated.
When the driver gained consciousness, he informed Officers that he fell asleep while heading home after a night of heavy drinking.
