At approximately 21:33 last night, SAPS members together with tracking members contacted Rustenburg First Responders requesting urgent medical assistance. Rustenburg First Responders, along with Bojanala EMS, were dispatched to a call reporting an attempted hijacking, with initial information indicating that the victim had been shot.
Upon arrival, it was confirmed that the victim had not been shot but had sustained facial injuries. The patient was treated, stabilised, and transported to hospital for further medical care.
This incident was attended by Rustenburg First Responders, Bojanala EMS, SAPS, and Tracking Members.
