The Provincial Drug and Firearms Unit members, have arrested a man who was found in possession of cocaine packaged in plastic wrapping and glass viles, on South Coast Road in Montclair.
Police received intelligence about the suspect who was in possession of drugs, which were reportedly going to be distributed in the Umlazi area.
Police moved swiftly and intercepted the suspect’s vehicle. The drugs recovered are estimated at a street value of almost R170 000.
His vehicle was also seized and he will appear in court soon.
