JMPD RegionF1 officers were on patrol in Braamfontein when they received a complaint from Vuma Cam about a grey Opel Corsa Bakkie that had been hijacked from the owner as per the Mondeor SAPS case.
The officers proceeded to the given location at the corner of Simmonds & Smit Streets in Braamfontein, where they spotted the vehicle fitting the exact description provided, with one male occupant.
The officers approached & arrested the suspect for hijacking & detained him at Mondeor SAPS. The vehicle was booked in at Aeroton SAPS Pound.
