The R71 between Haenertsburg and Polokwane is currently open to traffic with no disruptions.
Motorists are advised that South African Police Service (SAPS) visibility has been deployed along the route as part of heightened monitoring ahead of the expected “March and March” activities scheduled for today.
Law enforcement continues to monitor developments and will adjust safety measures if required.
