Nearly one hundred thousand rands worth of cellular phones were stolen during a break-in at a business in Moss Street in the Verulam CBD.
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were called out to the premises after the break-in was discovered. On arrival Reaction Officers were informed that a large number of cellphones, as well as an LG laptop, a surround sound system, three speakers, and an Amplifier, were also stolen.
On inspection, it was discovered that entry was gained through the roof to a common area shared by two businesses. Suspects removed security gates and entered the cellular & electronics store where the goods were stolen.
