A driver has been left in a serious condition following a major vehicle collision on the R102 and JG Champion intersection near Palmview, Phoenix, on Tuesday morning, 28 October 2025.
KZNVIP Emergency Response Teams arrived promptly on scene and began stabilising the critically injured driver, who had been ejected from the vehicle during the impact.
Additional KZNVIP ambulances were dispatched to treat children travelling in a scholar transport vehicle that was en route to a local crèche facility at the time of the crash.
All patients were stabilised on scene before being transported to various medical facilities for further care.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation at this stage.
