Festive season operations in Trompsburg continue to yield positive successes for the period 1 December 2025 to 8 December 2025.
The Station Commander, Captain Motlohi, and the management of the station appreciate and encourage the commitment from the community members who continue to provide information to the police to ensure that the streets of Trompsburg are free from drugs and that people refrain from buying stolen property.
The following successes were reported during this operation:
14 liquor-related cases, where three are from compliance at liquor premises and one where an illegal shebeen was closed down.
Two (2) persons were arrested for driving under the influence of liquor.
Four (4) illegal immigrants were arrested.
One (1) person arrested for dealing in drugs.
One (1) person arrested for possession of stolen property
One (1) person was issued with a fine for collecting scrap without a certificate.
