On Tuesday morning, our Centurion crew responded to a medical emergency at a local retirement village in Die Hoewes, Centurion.
Upon arrival, an elderly female patient was found to have fallen and sustained injuries to her ribs, resulting in severe pain. The patient was assessed and provided with pain relief medication on scene.
She was thereafter transported to a nearby hospital in a stable condition by Netcare911.
