Gauteng MEC for Roads and Transport, Kedibone Diale-Tlabela, will this morning Monday, 18 May 2026, lead oversight visits at several major road construction sites: K54 Mamelodi, K50 Garsfontein, K101 Midrand and K155 Linksfield.
These inspections form part of the Department’s continued efforts to monitor project progress, uphold construction quality standards, and fast-track the completion of strategic road infrastructure developments that support improved transport networks and economic growth across the province.
The oversight programme also aims to identify and assess any obstacles that could delay the successful completion of the projects, allowing the Department to implement corrective measures where necessary.
