The Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department (EMPD) Intervention Unit Officers, successfully recovered a reported stolen vehicle, in the Benoni area.
Officers received information from a reliable source, regarding a grey Haval Jolion parked on Miles Sharp Street. They responded swiftly to the scene and recovered the vehicle, which was found abandoned with no occupants inside.
Upon conducting a verification check, the vehicle tested positive as stolen, with a Benoni SAPS case number.
The vehicle was subsequently towed to the Aeroton Vehicle Pound, for safekeeping. No arrests have been made at this stage, and investigations are ongoing.
