SAPS in KwaZulu-Natal have arrested a suspect for possession and dealing in drugs, as well illegal possession of ammunition in Chatsworth on Thursday, 21 May 2026.
Members of the Provincial Drugs and Firearms Unit, working with a K9 unit from SAPS’ E2 partner, operationalised information about a man who was believed to be dealing in drugs. Upon the search at the suspect’s property, police found pieces of rock cocaine and mandrax tablets worth an estimated street value of over R220 000. He was also found in possession of four rounds of ammunition and R4000, which was believed to be proceeds from criminal activities.
