A 28-year-old Malawian National was arrested and several bin packets filled with stolen goods were recovered by Reaction Officers in Verulam – KZN.
A businessman contacted Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) yesterday requesting assistance to locate stock that had been stolen after forced entry was gained into his warehouse on Sunday night. The stolen goods included bails of steel wool and pot scourers.

Earlier today, RUSA Members received information from an informant that the person seen in the footage was seated under a tree on Todd Street. Reaction Officers converged on the location and approached the male. Five bin bags packed with the suspected stolen goods were located next to him.
During an interview, the 28-year Malawian National stated that the balance of the stolen items was hidden in a dense bush in Lotusville – KZN. Reaction Officers proceeded to the location and recovered the balance of the stolen goods.
