The Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department (EMPD) Germiston North Precinct Officers, conducted a law enforcement operation in the Malvern East area.
During the operation, four (4) male suspects aged between thirty(30) and fifty-nine(59) were arrested for various offences including driving under the influence of intoxicated substances, reckless and negligent driving, and failure to provide identity documents.
In addition, fifty-seven (57) written notices were issued to motorists for operating vehicles with defects on public roads.
All arrested individuals were detained at the Primrose Police Station and are expected to appear before the Magistrate’s Court soon.
This forms part of ongoing law enforcement operations across the City of Ekurhuleni (CoE).
