Police in Giyani have launched a search operation for a #missing elderly man, Mbhazima George Mathebula (63), who resides at Jimu Village.
The missing person was reported missing on Wednesday, 28 January 2026. According to the complainant, who is his younger brother, Mr Mathebula left his home without informing anyone of his destination and has not returned since.
It is further reported that the missing person lives with mental challenges.
At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a blue jacket and blue denim shorts.
Police conducted search operations in and around the area; however, no positive results were yielded. The search for the missing person continues.
