Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) received a call for assistance regarding a shooting incident in Redcliffe – KZN at approximately 19:39 this evening (Saturday, 23/05/2026).
Reaction Officers were immediately dispatched and on arrival found members of the South African Police Service (SAPS) already in attendance at the scene. A man was discovered lying on a pathway after sustaining four (4) gunshot wounds to his body.
No eyewitnesses to the shooting could be located. Residents informed Officers that multiple gunshots were heard shortly before the victim was found.
The motive for the murder has not been established.
