Incident Overview
MGN Security responded to a theft-in-progress incident at FM Presstools involving suspects attempting to steal industrial compressors. Upon arrival and investigation, MGN Security Reaction Officers successfully intercepted the suspects and recovered stolen property as well as the vehicle and tools used in the commission of the crime.
Incident Details
A total of six (6) suspects were involved in the incident. During the operation, one suspect managed to flee the scene, while five (5) suspects were apprehended and taken into custody.
The suspects were found in possession of equipment used to facilitate the theft. Security officers successfully recovered:
* Industrial compressors that were being stolen
* The vehicle used in the commission of the crime
* Various tools used by the suspects during the theft
One unidentified suspect escaped and is currently outstanding.

Police Involvement
Following the apprehension of the suspects, all recovered items, evidence, and the arrested individuals were handed over to the South African Police Service (SAPS) for further investigation and processing.
