The Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department (EMPD) Intervention Unit Officers, in conjunction with members of a private security company, arrested four (4) male suspects aged between twenty-six (26) and thirty-five (35) for possession of suspected stolen goods in the Brakpan area.
Officers received information regarding suspects allegedly in possession of suspected stolen goods. With the assistance of private security members, the suspects were apprehended on Vlakfontein Road next to the Ergo Mine while driving a white Nissan bakkie. A search was conducted, during which officers discovered 20 pieces of copper cables.
All four suspects were arrested and charged with possession of suspected stolen property. They were detained at Brakpan Police Station.
