A 36-year-old man sustained multiple stab wounds during an attempted robbery at the intersection of Cobblepark Drive and Summer Park Place in Shastri Park, Phoenix – KZN yesterday afternoon (Friday, 15/05/2026).
Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) received a call from members of the public requesting urgent assistance at approximately 20:13. Reaction Officers were immediately dispatched to the scene.
Upon arrival, Officers found the injured man seated on the roadside with multiple stab wounds to his back. He informed Reaction Officers that he had been approached by approximately ten (10) men who attempted to rob him. The victim resisted & attempted to fight off the group when he was attacked and stabbed repeatedly before the assailants fled the scene empty handed.
The injured male was transported privately to a medical facility
