The Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department (EMPD) Nigel Precinct Officers, conducted a strategic operation together with other precincts and stakeholders, which resulted in the arrest of four (4) male suspects for possession of narcotics in the Duduza area.
Officers received a tip-off regarding individuals allegedly dealing in narcotics. A follow-up operation was conducted on Nomjekwa and Ntombela Streets, where the different male suspects were found in possession of narcotics.
The confiscated drugs included x15 mandrax tablets, x11 packets of crystal meth and x22 small plastic wraps of nyaope, with an estimated street value of R4 400.
All four suspects were detained at Duduza Police Station.
